The Northeast Chapter of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals (NEFAEP) is an organization of public and private sector environmental professionals and students from a diverse array of backgrounds throughout Northeast Florida.

We provide a platform for networking with a diverse array of industry members through thoughtfully planned professional development opportunities, social luncheons, hands-on trainings, and more.

Presented by Katie Craver, External Affairs Director at the FDEP Northeast District. This session will focus on the DEP’s regulatory program, which safeguards natural resources via permitting and compliance.

Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimps Social

The NEFAEP is excited to announce a special event at the Jumbo Shrimp Baseball game on September 11th at 7:05 PM at the Vystar Ballpark in Jacksonville! This event is open to all members and their families, offering a fantastic opportunity to socialize, network, and enjoy America’s favorite pastime together. Don’t miss out on an evening of fun, connection, and community spirit!

Tickets are $10/each (limited first come first serve).

Past

In 2025, we’ve held Gainesville and St. Augustine socials; attended the 2025 FAEP Conference; participated in the annual St. Johns River Cleanup; hosted virtual Lunch and Learns with Native Shorelines, the SJRWMD, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the City of Jacksonville’s Environmental Quality Division and Environmental Protection Board; supported a Turtle Survival Alliance conservation fundraiser;  organized a guided site visit to Trail Ridge Landfill, and held a Steinhatchee scalloping excursion.
